9. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. - Philippians 3:21-22

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. Of course, there are many more reasons and Scriptures to give us hope for that glorious day when the Lord Jesus Christ will snatch His church out of this fallen world. I'd love to read your comments and additional Scriptures below!
And if for any reason you are not excited about the return of Christ in 2011, I encourage you to post why you might not be ready for Him to come back today. These reasons could vary tremendously, but I'll just leave it open-ended for discussion.
