It's funny, but many years ago, someone in my house church wanted to lead a study with a Henri Nowen book. We actually ended up doing two of his books over the years. I just could never get into them. I fell asleep while reading, sometimes even during the house church teaching. I think that the Lord was protecting me from the book! Most of us in the group just could not get interested in those books. Thankfully, my house church is focused on biblical studies now.
